Police search for man in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO — Police on Monday afternoon searched a Mukilteo neighborhood for a man wanted on warrants.

About 2 p.m., a Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop the man, 37, near 148th Street SW and Highway 99, spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

The man sped off and there was a short pursuit, she said. The suspect ended up in a Mukilteo neighborhood.

Sheriff’s deputies used a specially trained dog and a helicopter to look for the man but were unable to find him.
