Vacant mobile home destroyed in morning fire

MARYSVILLE ­— An unoccupied double-wide mobile home was destroyed in a fire early Monday morning.

Fire crews responded shortly after 5 a.m. to the 17800 block of 25th Avenue NE, where they found the double-wide mobile home engulfed in fire. The fire was brought under control. No one was injured.

Marysville fire crews were joined by Getchell, Silvana and Arlington firefighters, said Kristen Thorstenson, a spokeswoman for the Marysville Fire District.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

Damage was estimated at $10,000.
