Wooden boat center needs volunteers
The Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach State Park helps people learn more about inland waterways through hands-on contact with the region’s small-craft heritage.
Volunteers can help children make toy boats, get families out on the water or encourage visitors to enjoy the historic surroundings.
The center is looking for energetic volunteers of different skills, abilities and ages. Especially needed are those who can make regular contributions of their time.
