EVERETT — Goodwill on Saturday will accept donations for the families rendered homeless by an apartment fire last week.
Clothes, food and household items can be donated to the Goodwill Industries store at 3002 Hoyt Ave. between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., said Kris Krischano, a spokesman for the Snohomish County chapter of the American Red Cross.
All items must be in good condition. Donations not taken by the victims will go to Goodwill.
People can donate money as well, Krischano said. The funds will go to the Red Cross to help more than two dozen men, women and children displaced by the fire on Lombard Avenue the morning of Jan. 3.
