SEATTLE — A Mukilteo man has been convicted of dealing methamphetamine out of his home and Seattle-area business, court officials reported today.
Michael Fjerstad, 45, faces at least 20 years behind bars for numerous federal felony convictions. A jury convicted Fjerstad late yesterday after the weeklong trial in U.S. District Court in Seattle.
Fjerstad is scheduled to be sentenced May 1.
The Mukilteo man was accused of selling meth to a confidential informant on three separate occasions. Investigators later searched Fjerstad’s home and business and reported finding drugs, cash and other evidence of drug dealing. They also found 130 rounds of ammunition, including 82 rounds of hollow-point bullets, according to court records.
Fjerstad was convicted in Snohomish County of a felony drug possession and was prohibited from having the ammunition.
The case was investigated by the Seattle Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
