LYNNWOOD — Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives hope someone can help identify a man who tried to rob a convenience store last month.
The holdup occurred about 10:15 p.m. Jan. 31, when a man went into a store in the 16400 block of 36th Avenue W., displayed a handgun and demanded cash, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
When a customer walked into the store, the suspect ran away without any cash, Hover said.
He is described as white and about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white bandanna over his face.
Detectives are asking anyone with any information about the suspect to call the sheriff’s tip line at 425-388-3845.
