MARYSVILLE — Call it a terribly failed attempt at a to-go order.

A suspected drunken driver crashed a sport utility vehicle through a restaurant in Marysville early Thursday morning causing extensive damage to two businesses.

Police and emergency crews were called to the Saigon Garden Restaurant, 10031 Shoultes Road, about 2:30 a.m., Marysville police Lt. Jeff Goldman said.

A Marysville woman, 30, had smashed a late model SUV into the front of the restaurant and crashed through a wall into a neighboring business, he said.

The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett as a precaution. She later was booked into the Marysville jail for investigation of driving while intoxicated, Goldman said.

No one else was hurt.
