EVERETT — An Everett man was arrested early Sunday after he allegedly used his car to try to push another car off a cliff.
The man, 49, reportedly met a group of people at the Denny’s restaurant on Pacific Avenue, according to a police affidavit.
He invited the group back to party at his home in the 2400 block of W. Mukilteo Boulevard, the report said.
When the group arrived, the man allegedly came out of his house yelling at them and accusing people of robbing him. The group got into a car to drive away and the man followed in a vehicle, ramming the group’s car, trying to force it off a cliff, the report said. The victims’ vehicle stopped about 10 feet from the cliff’s edge.
The suspect, a felon, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of two counts of first-degree assault and one count of second-degree assault. He also had outstanding warrants.
