ARLINGTON — Washington State Patrol investigators are looking for information to help lead to the driver who fled April 21 after injuring another motorist.
Investigators believe a silver compact SUV hit another vehicle on northbound I-5 north of the exit 208 overpass at Island Crossing just before noon that day, trooper Keith Leary said. The second driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with multiple injuries.
The SUV driver fled. He was described as white, in his 20s, with shoulder-length brown hair and no facial hair. The vehicle had a decal resembling an eagle on the back. There may also be damage to the driver’s side.
Investigators are asking any shops that may have repaired this vehicle or any witnesses to call trooper Rocky Oliphant at 360-658-2588.
