Donate: Care center needs a doll house

Merry Haven Care Center in Snohomish needs a wooden miniature doll house for its men’s craft group.

The house can be finished or unfinished.

Volunteer: Be a local travel guide

The Snohomish County Tourism Bureaus in Smokey Point, Everett, Lynnwood and Snohomish need volunteers.

You don’t have to be a Snohomish County native to be a travel counselor.

Donate: Therapeutic riding program has Lipizzaner Stallions tickets

The Hope Therapeutic Riding Program, a nonprofit organization based in Island County, is selling a block of tickets to the Lipizzaner Stallions show at 2 p.m. Sunday at Everett Comcast Arena.

Proceeds go to help the riding program.

Volunteer: Help Taste of Decadence fundraiser

Volunteers are needed for the Taste of Decadence Hawaii fundraising event set for 6:30 p.m. June 26 at Smokey Point Community Church, 17721 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.

The event features appetizers and desserts, an auction, music by the Voices of the Village and an inspirational message from musician Dylan Kuehl. Dress is casual or tropical.

Donations help people with disabilities achieve their goals at home, at work and in community life. Proceeds go to the nonprofit Village Community Services of Arlington, said spokeswoman Michelle Dietz-Date.

People who can volunteer at least two hours June 25 or 26 to help out are needed to set up, decorate, run auction items, manage the desserts and clean up.
