Edward Goodridge and his son, Eddie Goodridge, both longtime leaders of the Stillaguamish Indian Tribe, arrived at a federal prison in rural Sheridan, Ore., on Monday, according to prison officials.

Sara Schroedl, a former Stillaguamish tribal leader, arrived at a federal prison in Phoenix on the same day.

All three pleaded guilty late last year to selling untaxed cigarettes at the Blue Stilly Smoke Shop in Arlington. Both Goodridge men were sentenced to 14 months in federal prison; Schroedl was sentenced to eight months.

Linda Goodridge, the wife of Edward Goodridge, was sentenced to four month’s home detention. She is not a tribal member.

The Goodridge’s and Schroedl made $55 million from the sale of untaxed cigarettes sold at the Blue Stilly between 2003 and 2007, court papers show. Eddie Goodridge left his post as the tribe’s executive director when he was sentenced to prison in March.

Schroedl lived with her family in Arizona at the time of her sentencing. She asked to be placed in an Arizona prison to be near her husband and children.
