EVERETT — Two people were injured in an apparent home-invasion robbery Wednesday night. The incident appears to involve drugs, police reported.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies were called about 11 p.m. to a fight at a home in the 11900 block of Admiralty Way, spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
There was a party at the house and deputies believe two men arrived intent on stealing something, she said.
A man and a woman, who are both in their 20s and who live at the home, reportedly were beaten up by the men. The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is expected to recover. The woman also is expected to be OK. She was taken to an Everett hospital for treatment.
There were conflicting reports from witnesses at the scene, a home where deputies have investigated drug problems in the past, Hover said.
Three men were detained and one was arrested for warrants.
