Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m., city council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council will consider ending a popular forgiveness program that allows people to receive a 75 percent discount on parking tickets if paid within 24 hours.

Stanwood City Council, 7 p.m. Thursday, board room, Stanwood-Camano School District administration building, 26920 Pioneer Highway. The agenda includes work on the city’s comprehensive plan.
