See fire trucks, garbage trucks, tow trucks, plumbing trucks, an ice Zamboni plus rigs from the show. There will also be a bounce house and concession food.
Books for sale in Edmonds: The 36th annual Book and Bake Sale is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Edmonds American Legion are planning the sale at 601 Dayton St., Edmonds.
Tulalips celebrate salmon: The Tulalip Tribes plans to host its annual Salmon Ceremony on Saturday on the Tulalip Indian Reservation.
Though the event has been open to the public in past years, only the Tulalip community and their invited guests will be able to attend this year due to space constraints, according to tribal leaders.
The ceremony is a long-held tradition to honor the return of the salmon. The event coincides with the Marysville Strawberry Festival Parade, in which longtime tribal leader Stan Jones and his wife, JoAnn, will represent Tulalip as the parade’s king and queen.
The Tulalip Parade, which has in the past been held to coincide with the salmon ceremony or other events, isn’t scheduled to occur this year until September.
