Police investigate a shooting in Marysville

MARYSVILLE – A woman in her 60s was shot multiple times at a Marysville home late this morning.

She was rushed to a hospital by helicopter.

Police are investigating the shooting in the 4400 block of 128th Pl. NE, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

A man in his 70s was arrested, officials said.

Medics airlifted the woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition, Marysville Fire Department spokeswoman Kristen Thorstenson said.

People at the shooting scene said they know the couple, and that the woman recently asked the man to move out of the home they shared.
