ENGAGEMENT

Farschman and Zuvela

Amy Farschman of Lake Stevens and Peter Zuvela of Everett plan to marry Aug. 28 at Lairmont Manor in Bellingham.

She is the daughter of Barbara and Russell Farschman, and he is the son of Carol and Steven Zuvela.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Everett High School. Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. Both are graduates of Everett Community College.

Amy and Peter met four years ago when they worked together at the Everett Costco store.

They were friends for three years before Peter finally realized he was in love with Amy.

She waited patiently. He proposed the day after Thanksgiving at sunrise on Hood Canal.

Amy works in the Everett Costco photo lab and Peter works for Waterfront Construction in Seattle.

They are buying their first home together in Lake Stevens.

REUNION

Everett High Class of 1934 notes 75 years

Five classmates of the Everett High School Class of 1934 met recently for their 75th anniversary graduation reunion.

They are Howard Mortvedt, Doris Olsen, Anne Tilly, Ted Jensen and Bill Carpenter.

The men have lived in Everett since graduation. Tilly came from Wenatchee and Olsen from Idaho Falls, Idaho, for the reunion.

The classmates are in their early 90s.
