Rollover slows U.S. 2 traffic east of Gold Bar

GOLD BAR – Traffic on U.S. 2 east of Gold Bar was slowed this afternoon after a semi-truck and trailer rolled over.

The truck apparently had a mechanical problem and dumped its load of dirt, Washington State Patrol trooper Bob Wilson said.

The highway was completely blocked shortly after 11a.m., but crews opened one lane and traffic was being alternated through.

Drivers should expect significant delays in the area.

No one was injured.
