Three Snohomish County lawyers were elected to the Board of Governors for the Washington State Association for Justice: Scott Carness with the Donchez Law Firm in Edmonds; Dominic Bacetich, who is working as a sole practitioner in Everett; and John Budlong with the law offices of John Budlong in Edmonds.

The YWCA’s Pathways to Work workshop helps people who need to re-enter the work force because of divorce, separation, death or disability of a spouse or loss of welfare. The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce will launch its “buy local” awareness campaign with an event from 7 to 9 a.m. Friday in the Tulalip Casino’s Canoes Cabaret Room.
