Bones belong to missing woman

INDEX — Bones discovered here last week belong to a missing Kent woman, the Snohomish County medical examiner said on Wednesday.

The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office identified the woman as Lisa Fisher. The woman was 40 years old when she was reported missing in 2008.

The cause and manner of her death are pending investigation.

A fisherman made the grim discovery last Wednesday in a remote area near Index.
