RiverFest: Help Bothell celebrate

Published 9:58 pm Thursday, August 27, 2009

Disney dancing and the Seahawks’ “Blue Thunder” Drumline are just two signs of lively summer fun.

These acts make up part of the city’s ninth annual RiverFest activities on Sunday in downtown Bothell, along with crafts, food booths and a car show.

Visitors also can enjoy inflatable games and a time capsule installation.

“RiverFest is a the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer — the entire family can come and have fun,” City of Bothell spokesperson Joyce Goedeke said.

“With the city’s centennial this year, we have the opportunity to celebrate 100 years of community spirit and show it off at this event.”
