Arlington City Council workshop meeting, 7 tonight, council chambers, 110 E. Third St. Agenda items include Tveit Road repair, economic development and a construction contract change order for the wastewater treatment plant upgrade and expansion project.

Monroe Planning Commission, 7 tonight, City Hall, 806 W. Main St. The commission will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to its affordable housing standards and potential incentives to help create housing.

Island County Board of Commissioners, 10 a.m. today, Hearing Room 102B, Island County Annex Building, 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville.

Arlington Planning Commission, 7 p.m. Tuesday, council chambers, 110 E. Third St. A public hearing on comprehensive plan amendments, including the city-initiated rezone of the Graafstra farm for a park, likely will be postponed until Oct. 21 and with action likely on Nov. 3.

Stanwood-Camano School Board, 7 p.m. Tuesday, administration and board meeting room, 26920 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood. The agenda includes the swearing in of student adviser Joseph Zingarelli and a first-of-the-year enrollment report.

Gold Bar City Council, 7 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 107 Fifth St.

Lake Stevens City Council, 7 tonight, Lake Stevens School District administration building, 12309 22nd St. NE.

Marysville City Council, 7 tonight, City Hall, 1049 State Ave. The council is scheduled to consider allocating of $70,259 in hotel-motel tax revenues to nonprofit tourism-promotion groups as allowed by state law.

Monroe City Council, 7 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 806 W. Main St. The council will hold two public hearings, on comprehensive plan amendments and on an ordinance that would adopt interim permit extension timelines.

Snohomish City Council, 7 p.m. Tuesday, School Administration Center, George Gilbertson Boardroom, 1601 Ave. D. The council will hear an update on wastewater negotiations with Everett.

Sultan Planning Commission, 7 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 319 Main St. No action items are on the agenda. Instead, the meeting will focus on discussion related to a planned unit development.

Snohomish County PUD, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, PUD Commission Meeting Room, 2320 California St., Everett.

Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, City Hall chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave.
