Everett boyfriends argue, stabbing ensues

EVERETT — An Everett man was jailed Thursday for allegedly stabbing his boyfriend in an alley behind the couple’s shared apartment.

Police were called to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett’s emergency room to investigate a patient, 26, who had checked in with a stab wound to the chest near his heart and lungs, according to a police affidavit.

The stabbing victim told an officer his roommate had attacked him, the police report said.

The boyfriend, 26, was arrested in the hospital waiting room. He allegedly told police he attacked his friend after a loud and angry argument.

The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of domestic violence first-degree assault.
