Fire that destroyed Marysville garage ruled suspicious

MARYSVILLE — A morning fire in Marysville that destroyed a garage and displaced a man from his home has been ruled suspicious.
Marysville police now are investigating the blaze caused $190,000 of damage that was reported by a firefighter about 7:50 a.m. in the 1400 block of Cedar Avenue, Marysville Fire District spokeswoman Kristen Thorstenson said.
By the time firefighters arrived, the garage was engulfed in flames, she said.
The fire was visible from busy I-5. No one was injured.
