Man in hospital after flipping pickup truck

LAKE STEVENS — A man in his 40s was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Friday after his pickup truck rolled into a ditch on S. Lake Stevens Road.

The man was traveling westbound in the 11100 block of S. Lake Stevens Road about 2:30 p.m. when his truck flipped over, said Battalion Chief Perry Putnam with Snohomish County Fire District 8. The cause of the accident was still under investigation Friday.

The man was first taken to the Colby campus of Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in stable condition, but later was transferred to the regional trauma center at Harborview, Putnam said. The nature of his injuries were unknown.
