Notes: The Tips seem to have found a comfort zone as they keep the same lineup and combos for the third straight game. The one change is Kent Simpson gets the start in goal. Left wing Dan Iwanski will be out another week with his knee injury.

Scratches: Fenske, Lamoureux, Kytnar, Hodder.

Notes: All four of Vancouver’s scratches are injury related. Defenseman Zach Hodder is out for the season with a shoulder injury, and fellow d-man Luke Fenske is out with a wrist injury, necessitating the call up of 7-year-old Wes Vannieuwenhuizen from Surrey of the BCHL. Center Milan Kytnar is out with a shoulder injury and right wing Greg Lamoureux is out with a pelvis injury. This is Everett’s first look at Vancouver with forwards Tomas Vincour and Brett Breitkreuz, picked up from Edmonton at the trade deadline. The Giants are also without head coach Don Hay, who’s serving a one-game suspension.
