MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Detectives arrested a Seattle woman Wednesday on suspicion that she skimmed thousands of dollars off fraudulent credit cards.

The woman, 27, took out cash advances on the credit cards at several casinos in Snohomish and King counties, according to a police affidavit filed Thursday in Everett District Court.

When police arrested the woman at her Seattle home, she had 16 apparently fake credit cards in her name, police said.

She was booked for investigation of three counts of first-degree theft, 23 counts of second-degree identity theft and nine counts of second-degree theft.

An Everett District Court judge on Thursday found probable cause to hold the woman for investigation of the alleged crimes committed in Snohomish County. The judge ordered the woman held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
