Talks in Mukilteo: The Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation’s Sustainable Gardening lecture series is in full swing at the social hall of Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4515 84th St. SW, Mukilteo.

Sessions are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every other Friday.

This Friday’s speaker is Pat Carey with Green Roof: Beyond Storm Water. The rest of the schedule includes: Carrie Becker, Feb. 19, perennials; Greg Butler, March 5, landscape renovation; Ciscoe Morris, March 19; Dan Hinkley, April 2; and Marianne Binetti, April 16.

Cost is $75 for the remainder of the series, payable at the door, or $20 for individual sessions, if space is available. Reservations for individual sessions will not be accepted. Call 425-357-6010 with questions.

Class correction: Edmonds Parks &Recreation spring gardening speaker series is on Thursday evenings in March (not February as previously reported). Topics, presented by master gardeners and members of the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club, will include sustainable gardening (March 4), vegetables and herbs (March 11), container gardening (March 18) and native plants (March 25).
