Boeing spent $6.1 million in lobbying in 4Q

The Boeing Co. spent 24 percent more money on lobbying in the fourth quarter of 2009 than it did in the same period the previous year.

Boeing spent $6.1 million in the last quarter of 2009, the Associated Press reports.

What did that money go toward?

Lobbying for the U.S. Air Force tanker contest, on a funding bill for the FAA, on foreign military sales and on NASA funding.
