Update on Boeing’s 747-8

Aside from the 747-8 buffeting issue, the flight test program is going well, Boeing 747 spokesman Tim Bader told me yesterday.

A couple highlights:

• The 747-8 flight test program has logged in more than 80 hours of flight time.
• The first 747-8 flight test freighter has flown daily for 17 days straight.
• As most readers know, all three 747-8 flight test aircraft have started flight testing.
