Game 7: Everett vs. Kelowna lineup notes
Published 6:08 pm Monday, March 29, 2010
The big news for Everett is that defenseman Radko Gudas returns to the lineup tonight. Gudas missed the previous four games because of an upper-body injury, but his return means the Tips dress the full complement of six defensemen tonight and Zack Dailey probably moves back to right wing. However, defenseman Chris de la Lande remains out with his upper-body injury. Everett keeps faith with Kent Simpson in goal, who gets his third straight start and fifth in the series. Forwards Tyler Giebel and Josh Winquist and defenseman Gabe Minville are healthy scratches.
Kelowna has a question mark next to right wing Mitchell Callahan, who will take the warm-up. Callahan didn’t finish Game 6 because of an injury I didn’t see. If Callahan can’t go, center Sean Aschim will make his series debut. Forwards Cody Chikie (shoulder) and Kyle St. Denis (concussion) missed the entire series because of injury, and defenseman MacKenzie Johnston is a healthy scratch. Mark Guggenberger gets the start again in goal.
