Here’s how some of your tax dollars were spent in recent action by elected boards.
Arlington: $810 to National Fire Codes for an annual online subscription; $1.7 million to Imco Contracting of Bellingham for work on the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
Edmonds: $982.37 to Northwest Cascade Inc. of Puyallup for honey bucket rentals; $1,303.05 to Sky Nursery of Shoreline for mulch.
Snohomish: $11,177.20 to SNOPAC of Everett for March dispatch services; $376.95 to Taser International of Scottsdale, Ariz., for a new taser; $123.80 to Steuber Distributing of Snohomish for park grass seed.
Snohomish County: $1,923,695.76 plus sales tax to Motor Trucks Inc. of SeaTac for 12 new diesel dump trucks; $79,002 to Pacific Industrial Park in Marysville to lease 10,800 square feet of office space through the end of 2010 for the sheriff’s office north precinct; $37,500 to Donald G. Montgomery of Bellingham for appraisal services as part of a pilot purchase-of-development-rights program.
