Monroe: Woman hurt in U.S. 2 crash
A Sultan woman was hospitalized Wednesday night after her car was hit in a head-on crash on U.S. 2 near Fernbluff Road.
A Snohomish man, 39, likely caused the crash just before 9 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol
The woman, 38, was taken to Valley General Hospital.
State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said the injuries were not serious enough to reset the sign that counts the days without a serious accident on the busy highway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
