Mukilteo library invites families to turn off TV

Just do it. Shut the TV off, that is.
The Sno-Isle library system’s Mukilteo branch welcomes families to take part in “TV Turnoff Week,” running Tuesday through Friday.
The free events will include a community story time with guests such as Mukilteo mayor Joe Marine at 7 p.m. Tuesday; a story time with music and other activities at 7 p.m. Wednesday; a story time with the library’s frequent canine guests, Carmen and Risa, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday; and, for the final afternoon, a poetry event at 2 p.m. Friday.
Pajama-wearing is allowed at the Tuesday story time.
