Marion “Robin” Foote of Bellingham was named to Cascade Financial Corp.’s board of directors. She is managing director and partner at New York-based Novantas LLC, an international consulting company serving the financial services industry.
Sabrina Combs, a city of Bothell employee, was honored with the Governor’s Commute Smart Award for her work as Bothell’s employee transportation coordinator. Combs’ efforts have led to an increase in walking, carpooling, vanpooling and compressed work weeks compared with 2007.

Moonlight Piano Services will hold a grand opening ceremony at the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce from noon to 1 p.m. May 19 at 2000 Hewitt Ave., Suite 205. Business owner Wilson Charels will be available to talk about the business, which will provide piano tuning and repair in homes, restaurants, universities, schools, churches, hotels and other commercial areas.
