Thanks to all for shade trees at dog park

On behalf of the off-leash dog park “Strawberry Fields for Rover” and M-DOG, Marysville Dog Owners Group, I wish to extend thanks to Puget Sound Energy and Jeanne Coleman, municipal construction planner for PSE, for their support on April 24 — organizing a tree planting event/Arbor Day event to provide 13 shade trees to the park.

Local volunteers, individuals, M-DOG volunteers, Camp Fire, Marysville Parks Department and several volunteers from Puget Sound Energy and came together to plant the trees, providing needed shade for the dogs at the off-leash park. Strawberry Fields for Rover is a new off-leash park and is part of Strawberry Fields Athletic Field in Marysville, located at the south end.

Once again, our thanks to all who volunteered their time and hard work to make the park a better place for the dogs.
