Gray whale spotted near mouth of Snohomish River

EVERETT – A gray whale was spotted in the mouth of the Snohomish River this morning.
The whale was seen swimming not far from the Everett Marina between 9 and 10 a.m. Police boats and state Fish and Wildlife agents were called to herd the whale away from the river.
