Women are in motion
A group that supports businesswomen, called Women in Motion, meets Friday in Snohomish.
It’s an opportunity to share wine and appetizers at 5:30 p.m. at French Creek Manor, 9931 167th Ave. SE. Bring three pieces of costume jewelry for a jewelry exchange. It costs $25.

Women in Motion is a program of GROW Washington, described as a new business development incubator.
Duck Dash tickets on sale: Tickets for the Duck Dash at the annual Aquafest celebration are on sale.
Duck Dash raffle tickets correspond to a number on a rubber duck that will float down the creek, and prizes are awarded based on order of finish. The race is scheduled for 3 p.m. July 25 during the festival.
The Rotary Club of Lake Stevens and Granite Falls organize the race and donate proceeds of ticket sales to scholarships, local food banks and other community projects and needs.
The race also is sponsored by several local businesses.
Watch for a Rotarian selling tickets around town. They cost $5; $20 for a book of five.
Clean dog park in Marysville: The Marysville Dog Owners Group seeks volunteers for a Saturday work party.
