Free hockey introduction for youths

Published 12:53 pm Thursday, June 17, 2010

This press release was passed along to me. Apparently the Comcast Arena marketing department is unavailable, so I’ve been asked to get this out. Here’s the release in its entirety:

Everett, WA – Everett Youth Hockey (EYH) in coordination with Seattle Junior Hockey Association (SJHA) and Sno-King Amateur Hockey Association (SKAHA), is hosting a “Try Hockey For Free” event at three rinks around the Puget Sound area. This “Try Hockey For Free” event is open to all youth who are new to hockey regardless of their skating ability. Each session will have coaches and instructors on the ice to work with individuals and small groups to teach both skating and hockey skills. There will be skates, sticks, pucks and other protective equipment at each site for individuals to use to participate. Individuals are encouraged to bring any hockey / protective equipment they have to this event for their use. Helmets are required.
