Zack Dailey, Everett’s captain the past two seasons, has committed to play at the University of Alberta. While players who played in the CHL are ineligible to play in the NCAA, they are eligible to play collegiately in Canada. Dailey is the rare American who is taking advantage of his WHL scholarship to play in Canada, and in the University of Alberta he’s headed to play for one of the premier programs in the CIS. Dailey spent five seasons with the Tips, meaning he’ll get his full four years worth of WHL scholarships.
