EVERETT
Forward lines:
Maxwell-Ferraro-Tochkin
Birkholz-Cumiskey-MacDonald
Elynuik-McGrath-McCrea
Winquist-Giebel-Fowlie
Defensive pairings:
Murray-Suer
Walters-Rissanen
Morden-Sohor
Starting goalie:
Simpson
Scratches: Theriau, Erricson, Hayer, Huhtala.
Notes: Everett plays without defenseman Alex Theriau. Theriau is serving a one-game suspension for the checking-from-behind major assessed last night in the 4-3 victory over Seattle. The Tips spread their top six forwards over three lines to begin last night, but consolidated those six to start the second period, and that formation carries over tonight. One other change as Tyler Giebel enters the lineup for Manraj Hayer.
VANCOUVER
Forward lines:
Gallagher-Cunningham-McNaught
Henry-McKay-Tvrdon
Lyon-Martinook-M. Burns
Franson/Carning-Lamoureux-Bellerive
Defensive pairings:
Vannieuwenhuizen-Musil
Sohn-Manning
Fenske-Reum
Starting goalie:
Jensen
Scratches: Sward, Reed, N. Burns, Redmond, Hart, Hodder, Segal, Franson/Carning.
Notes: Vancouver has three depth players with long-term injuries in forwards Connor Redmond (shoulder) and Nathan Burns (knee) and defenseman Zach Hodder (shoulder). The Giants are carrying three goalies, and interestingly No. 1 option Mark Segal is the scratch tonight. Enforcer Randy McNaught, acquired from Saskatoon last night, makes his Giants debut. One of Cain Franson and Casper Carning will be a late scratch.
