The Everett Silvertips open the 2010-11 season with an eight-game homestand that lasts until the middle of October. The Tips figured they needed to take advantage of all these early home games and get off to a good start in the standings. So far, so good. Everett is halfway through the homestand and finds itself a perfect 4-0, having beaten Seattle, Vancouver, Kamloops and Lethbridge. The remaining scheduled for the homestand is (opponent’s current record included):
10/6 — Portland (3-1-0-1)
10/10 — Kelowna (0-3-0-0)
10/13 — Chilliwack (2-1-0-0)
10/15 — Calgary (1-2-0-0)
