Tune in: ‘Boeing and Beyond’ on tonight

Tonight, KIRO TV will host a special program about the Boeing Co.’s future in Washington state.

Boeing &Beyond: The Future of Flight in Our State airs tonight at 7 p.m. on channel 7 and Comcast 107. It will be rebroadcast on RTV 7.2 and Comcast 117 on Monday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m.

The program will feature interviews with Boeing’s Jim Albaugh, Gov. Chris Gregoire and the leaders of Boeing’s unions.

This year, The Herald has been looking at some of the major aerospace topics in the state through a monthly series. Last month’s section focused on the unions, including a two-part video interview with Boeing and union leaders. Check out The Herald online tomorrow or in print Sunday for look at Boeing’s operations in South Carolina.

Aerospace in Washington also will be the focus of the governor’s aerospace summit tomorrow in Lynnwood.
