Russian carrier Aeroflot is asking the Boeing Co. for $100 million in compensation for delays of the 787.

Reuters reported about Aeroflot’s request today. The $100 million is less than the list price of a Boeing 787-8. Boeing’s asking price for those begins at $161 million, though airlines rarely pay the full list price.

Aeroflot also plans to seek compensation from Russian jet maker Sukhoi for delays of its Superjet 100.

The carrier has 22 Boeing 787-8 aircraft on order.

Boeing is more than two years behind schedule on its 787 Dreamliner.
