Watch local divas

You can watch some art divas strut their stuff while supporting a local nonprofit.

On Friday, The Dance School will hold its second annual Art Divas Fashion Show which raises money for the school’s youth program. The art divas will wear clothing by Burkett’s.

Models are: Myrna Overstreet, from the Everett Symphony; city of Everett spokeswoman Kate Reardon; Hap Wertheimer, representing the Arts Council of Snohomish County and Imagine Children’s Museum; Wendy Becker of the Snohomish County Arts Commission, Village Theatre’s Kati Nickerson; art patrons Andrea Meuret and Leska Ratliff; artist Dona Anderson and Everett City Councilwoman Brenda Stonecipher.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; the fashion show starts at 7 p.m. at The Dance School, 2821 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Tickets are $30 per person. For more information, call 425-259-6861 or buy them at Burkett’s, 2617 Colby Ave., or at the door the night of the show.
