A year ago today, the Boeing Co.’s 787 took its first flight.
Since then, all six 787 test jets have flown, and the program has accumulated 2,373 flight test hours.
But five weeks ago, the 787 program ran into problems when an electrical fire broke out on the second Dreamliner. The test fleet was grounded. It’s been three weeks since Boeing has given an update on the even. And it is not known when testing will resume or how the incident will affect first delivery.
