Russia’s Aeroflot to place $4 billion Boeing order

Russia’s Aeroflot signed a tentative agreement with the Boeing Co. for as many as 16 777 jets.
The carrier announced the preliminary deal, valued at more than $4 billion in list prices, today. Airlines rarely pay full list price; Aeroflot did not disclose the financial terms of the deal with Boeing.
Aeroflot expects to begin receiving those aircraft in 2012 through 2017.
