Text Comcast Arena
Folks who have a problem or concern at Comcast Arena at Everett, can now text building management during events.
The system fits with the arena’s “How You Doin’?” customer service philosophy.
Fans will be able to interact with management workers on duty at any event. The system is provided by In Stadium Solutions, a software company that is used at more than 100 venues nationwide, and was used at the 2010 NBA Finals and two Super Bowls.
Apparently it isn’t designed to place beer or nacho orders.
Honor Bothell police: Two events are planned by the city of Bothell to mark a transition at the helm of the Bothell Police Department.
A retirement celebration for Chief Forrest Conover is planned for 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at Eastside Foursquare Church, 14520 100th Ave. NE in Bothell. A swearing in ceremony for Chief Carol Cummings is planned at 5 p.m. Feb. 1 at City of Bothell Municipal Court, 10116 NE 183rd St. in Bothell.

Fundraiser in Sultan: A fundraiser is planned at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bubba’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Sultan. The club was destroyed in a fire on Christmas Eve.
