Everett’s Aviation Technical Services receives Boeing supplier award

Aviation Technical Services has received a Boeing performance excellence award for work performed by its component services business unit, the company said this week

The Everett-based maintenance, repair and overhaul company provides component services to Boeing on its 717, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787 aircraft.

“This is an extremely important award for ATS, but more so for our employees,” said Greg Buller, ATS general manager for component services, in a statement.

Boeing issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance.

This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a gold or silver level Boeing performance excellence award. ATS is one of only 141 suppliers to receive the gold level of recognition.

“I believe this gold award recognizes the dedication and high standards our employee’s consistently maintain in their daily routines which is absolutely essential for achieving the level of quality and on-time performance our customers need for the long-term,” Buller said.
