Dairy grant offered
A $750 scholarship is available to a Snohomish County graduating high school senior who works on a dairy farm, is involved in a dairy program such as Future Farmers of America or 4-H, or whose family is actively engaged in the dairy industry.
The student’s intended field does not need to be agriculture-related.
The scholarship will go toward college, technical or vocational school of the student’s choice and is to be used within one year of graduation from high school.
Scholarship notebooks must contain a completed application, high school transcript, list of extra-curricular activities and a short essay of 300 to 500 words on the applicant’s future plans and the influence of the dairy industry on the applicant’s career choice.

View a free screening of a documentary titled “Hiding” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sky Valley Bible Church, 18200 Cascade View Drive in Monroe.
The program is sponsored by LiNK, www.linkglobal.org/, an organization aiming to provide emergency relief to North Korean refugees.
Screenings of the documentary also are scheduled for March 23 and 24 in Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma. Check the website for times and locations.
