Car hits three women on logging road near Winlock

CHEHALIS — Three women were struck on a logging road near Winlock early Monday by a car leaving a party.
The Lewis County sheriff’s office says the three — ages 19 and 20 — were taken to Centralia Providence hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver was stopped by the Washington State Patrol and detained for questioning.
